- About Us

Individualized help when you need it; where you need it.

History

Margaret Cook and Gene Thompson met while attending law school at the University of Tulsa. Margaret focused on Disability, Immigration and Family Law and Gene specialized in Estate and Bankruptcy Law.  While each decided to open their own private practice in their home town, they recognized the benefit of working together and allowing clients to benefit from each of their strengths. By sharing expertise and knowledge, M. Cook Law in Tahlequah is able to provide big city results, and the ability of a full service law firm by leveraging the relationship with Creek County Law in Sapulpa.  Through this collaboration Margaret is able to bring clients the best each firm has to offer. Through the years, Margaret and Gene have found their distinct personalities and specializations complement each other’s in surprising, and what has turned out to be inseparable, ways. Both Margaret and Gene believe that each client deserves to be heard, treated with dignity and receive an honest analysis of their case.
